Heathen blessing

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Heidesegen was a Vorwerk of the former manor Bomsdorf .

geography

The desert is located about one kilometer north of Bomsdorf and belongs to the western Fläming plateau , a heather and grassland forest landscape of the northeast German lowlands. The place is also part of the Loburger Vorfläming nature reserve .

history

The Vorwerk already existed in 1843, because at that time it was mentioned as part of the Bomsdorf manor and is said to have been located on its northern field.

The entire district of Bomsdorf belonged to the district of Jerichow I at that time .

In 1912 there was a brick factory next to the Vorwerk and a total of 12 residents.

In 1948 the district of Bomsdorf and with it the Vorwerk Heidesegen went to the newly created district of Burg , from 1952 to the district of Loburg and in 1957 to the district of Zerbst .

In 1960 the place must have been abandoned and demolished only a little later. Today only the foundations of some buildings can be seen there.
