Landhaus is a district of Möckern in the Jerichower Land district in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

The village is two kilometers south of Ziepel . About one kilometer east of here, the district is bounded by the river ditch . This body of water flows into the Ehle , which is about two kilometers south-east . The section running here is part of the FFH area Ehle between Möckern and Elbe . It is under protection because it is a valuable watercourse, some of which is still naturally meandering and has rare fish species.

The buildings of the place are mainly in the vicinity of a street crossing. The most striking courtyard, located immediately north of the main road and characterizing the townscape, is currently (as of 2015) empty and is in ruins.

In terms of natural space , the place belongs to the Zerbster Land , an arable, open cultural landscape and 536 km² main unit of the superordinate main unit group of the Fläming in the north German lowlands . The Zerbster Land forms the southwestern roof of the Fläming to the Elbe and belongs to the catchment area of this river.
