Eckebusch is a settlement in the district of Bomsdorf von Möckern in the district of Jerichower Land in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

The small settlement is just over a kilometer north of the center of Loburg on the southern edge of a large forest area. It is part of the Loburger Vorfläming landscape protection area and belongs to the western Fläming plateau , a wooded landscape rich in heather and grassland. The location as well as the surroundings belong to the catchment area of ​​the Ehle and thus to the Elbe .

About three hundred meters west of here is the 76.8  m above sea level. NHN high Fuchsberg and about five hundred meters east of the village is the state road 55 running in north-south direction . Neighboring towns are Riesdorf in the north, Bomsdorf in the east, Loburg in the south and Wendgräben in the west.

In 1931 a forester's house in Eckebusch was named as a place to live in the town of Loburg . In the official district directory for 2014, Eckebusch is listed as a smaller settlement that belongs to Bomsdorf.
