Kampf is a district of Möckern in the Jerichower Land district in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

The small village is two kilometers west of Ziepel in an open agricultural landscape . The shortest route to the city of Möckern in the east is a good ten kilometers. In the vicinity, the village of Büden is just one kilometer to the west and the village of Nedlitz a good two kilometers to the southwest. The latter, however, is already beyond the city limits and belongs to Gommern .

In terms of natural space , the place belongs to the Zerbster Land , an arable, open cultural landscape and 536 km² main unit of the superordinate main unit group of the Fläming in the north German lowlands . The Zerbster Land forms the southwestern roof of the Fläming to the Elbe and belongs to the catchment area of this river.

history

Before the Peace of Tilsiter in 1807, the place belonged to the territory of the province of Magdeburg. During the Westphalian interim rule (1807-1813) he was part of the Kurmark . In December 1861, the Amthof Kampf near Nedlitz had a total of 58 residents and twelve campfire sites. He was parish in the Protestant parish of Nedlitz, which belonged to the superintendent district and the post-order district in Möckern. The appropriate Main Court of first instance was in the castle and the appeal court in Magdeburg. The then prescribed military ratio assigned the residents of the 7th Company of the 2nd Battalion of Regiment No. 26 of the 1st Magdeburg Landwehr .

Until it was incorporated on January 1, 2003, the village was part of the municipality of Ziepel, and today it is also part of the city of Möckern.
