The 1st Amateur League South Baden 1970/71  was the 21st season of the 1st Amateur League in South Baden - the forerunner of today's  Association League South Baden . The South Baden amateur champions were  FC Emmendingen . In the relegation to the Regionalliga Süd, they had to play against SV Waldhof Mannheim , FC Singen 04 and Spvgg Ludwigsburg , where they came in last. Germania Bietigheim and SV Kuppenheim had to relegate to the 2nd amateur league. The climbers for the following season were SV Bühlertal and VfR Rheinfelden .

  • Promoted to the Regionalliga Süd
  • After completion of the promotion round, FC Singen, Waldhof Mannheim and Ludwigsburg were tied, so a decision-making round was necessary to determine who was promoted. SV Waldhof defeated FC Singen on penalties in the first play-off. Spvgg 07 Ludwigsburg won the final in Rastatt against SV Waldhof Mannheim 2-1.
