The song was written and produced by Knowles for their fifth studio album, Beyoncé (Platinum Edition) . 7/11 was released on November 25, 2014 as the first single from the album's Platinum Edition. The song reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 33 on the UK singles chart . In Germany the song reached number 78 in the single charts, in Switzerland number 74.

criticism

The song 7/11 received positive reviews from numerous magazines and online portals. The video was rated as one of their best by many fans as it is a natural and honest video as Beyonce has a lot of fun with the song. The video also shows her husband Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy Carter .

Commercial win

In the US, the song debuted at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 . This was the third highest entry on the Billboard Hot 100 after Ring the Alarm and Drunk in Love Knowles. It later reached number 13 in the US. The song reached number one on the Billboard R&B / Hip Hop charts. In Great Britain the song reached number 33 on the singles chart and number 2 on the R&B charts. In other European countries, 7/11 reached the top 60 of the charts. Knowles reached number 78 in Germany.
