Countdown is a pop song by the American singer Beyoncé Knowles from her album 4 . Produced by Shea Taylor, Cainon Lamb and Beyoncé, it was released in the United States on October 4th, 2011 as the third single. The song contains a sample of the Boyz II Men title Uhh Ahh . The accompanying music video was produced by Adria Petty.
Charts
Just through downloads, the single reached 65th place in the Austrian Singles Charts and 35th in Great Britain. In some countries it reached the top 30 in the charts, such as in Denmark and Belgium. After its release in the United States, Countdown charted at number 85 on the US charts and rose to position 71 in the following weeks and stayed in the charts for a few weeks. In Germany, the single was released on November 25, 2011 and was not placed in the single charts, but in the Black Download charts, where it reached number one.
