Adam Johansson (born February 21, 1983 in Jönköping ) is a former Swedish football player . The defender , who won the Swedish championship and cup with IFK Göteborg , played for the Swedish national team between 2009 and 2013 .

Career

Johansson played for Slottskogen / Godhem IF and Kungsladugård BK in his youth . In the second division season 2002 , the defender made his debut for the second division Västra Frölunda IF in Swedish professional football. In his first season he was able to fight for a regular place and was in the starting line-up in 25 games. With the club he only missed promotion to the first-class Allsvenskan in the relegation against IFK Göteborg . In his second season he came on 13 missions, but played at the same time in the Swedish U-21 team . In the 2004 season he established himself in the regular formation both at his club and in the U-21 national team.

In January 2005 Johansson moved within Gothenburg the club. The full-back's new club was the first division club IFK Göteborg , where he played half of the season's games in his first first division season.
