Albertinenhof was a residential area of the community of Gerswalde in the district of Uckermark (Brandenburg). Albertinenhof was rebuilt around the middle of the 18th century as a preliminary work for the manor in Groß Fredenwalde. Around 1880/85 the Vorwerk buildings were demolished and a forestry department was set up instead. This building was demolished after 1957.

location

Albertinenhof was 8.5 km southwest of the core town of Gerswalde, 2.3 km northeast of Götschendorf and 3.3 km west-northwest of Alt-Temmen , around / after 1900 already completely in the forest. The settlement was 67.5  m above sea level. NHN .

history

In 1775/6 a Vorwerk was built here as an accessory to the Groß Fredenwalde manor. Three Büdners and a granny lived in a family house (probably a semi-detached house) . In 1781 there were three semi-detached houses for Büdner. In 1790 Albertinenhof is described as a knight-free Vorwerk that was managed by an administrator or sub-lessee . In 1801 the Vorwerk had three fireplaces and 19 residents. In 1817 21 people lived here. In 1840 the Albertinenhof manor still had three houses with 24 residents. In 1860 Albertinenhof consisted of three residential buildings and four farm buildings. A linen weaver lived in one of the houses and did his trade with a chair. The estate had a total size of 600 acres, including 9 acres of homestead, 10 acres of garden land, 341 acres of arable land, 123 acres of meadows and 117 acres of pasture. On the other hand, Adolf Frantz gives a slightly different total size of 590 acres, of which 341 acres are arable, 123 acres meadow, 117 acres pasture (adding 581 acres). The area of the homestead and the garden land are missing here. For the first time, Rauer gives the total size in hectares: 69.80 hectares, of which 52.27 hectares are arable, 3.05 hectares of meadows, 0.64 hectares of Hutung and 13.84 hectares of forest. The property tax net income is given as 332 marks.

In 1867 Albertinenhof belonged to the Groß Fredenwalde manor district. In 1885 there was already a forester's house on the site; the Vorwerk buildings had been demolished. The handbook of real estate in the German Reich of 1885 indicates a total size of 71 ha, of which 54 ha are arable, 3 ha meadows, 1 ha Hutung and 14 ha forest. As in 1879, the property tax net income was 332 marks. Groß Fredenwalde and Albertinenhof were administered by Carl Matz. In 1896, most of the estate was apparently already laid out as a forest. The administrator was the forester Paul Brehmer from Alt-Temmen. The forester's house belonged to the Groß Fredenwalde manor district. The forestry department still existed in 1957. After that, the building was demolished at an unknown time.

The couple had “only” three daughters, so that the fiefdoms were distributed among Arnim's closest relatives. Groß Fredenwalde and Albertinenhöhe fell to Ludwig Bernhard von Arnim (1784–1855) von Götschendorf . Ludwig Bernhard was married three times. Heir to Groß Fredenwalde and Albertinenhof was the son Friedrich Wilhelm Georg Ferdinand von Arnim (1832–1876) from his third marriage to Luise von Arnim from the Suckow family. Friedrich Wilhelm Georg Ferdinand was married to Auguste Adelheid Johanna von Arnim from the Milmersdorf house. D. on Neuensund, who let Ernst Krach manage Albertinenhof. As early as 1914, only forest was designated. According to Niekammer's address book for the province of Brandenburg from 1923, Albertinenhof belonged to Hans Joachim von Arnim on Mürow in the Angermünde district. Hans Joachim von Arnim had also acquired Arnimswalde by 1929 and made forest out of both estates.

Communal affiliation

Albertinenhof originally belonged to the Uckermark District of the Mark Brandenburg . After the district reform of 1816/17 Albertinenhof then belonged to the Templin district . In the district reform of 1872 and after the formation of the administrative districts, the manor district Groß Fredenwalde and Albertinenhof were assigned to the district 5 Groß Fredenwalde in the district Templin. Head of office was the manor owner von Arnim on Groß Fredenwalde, his deputy Schulze Nobiling in Groß Fredenwalde. In 1928, the Groß Fredenwalde estate was merged with the Groß Fredenwalde district to form the Groß Fredenwalde municipality. In 1931 and 1957 Albertinenhof was a residential area of Groß Fredenwalde. With the district reform of 1952 in what was then the GDR, Albertinenhof came to the newly cut Templin district in the Neubrandenburg district . In 1993 the Templin district was combined with the Angermünde and Prenzlau districts to form the Uckermark district. The former location of Albertinenhof is in the Groß Fredenwalde district. Groß Fredenwalde is now an inhabited part of Gerswalde. Gerswalde is a member and seat of the administrative community Amt Gerswalde .
