Aleh Uladsimirawitsch Antonenka ( Belarusian Алег Уладзіміравіч Антоненка , Russian Олег Владимирович Антоненко / Oleg Vladimirovich Antonenko * 1. July 1971 in Minsk , Byelorussian SSR ) is a Soviet-Russian / Belarusian ice hockey player . Since September 2010 he has been under contract with HK Homel in the Belarusian extra league.

Career

Aleh Antonenka started his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HK Junost Minsk . From there he moved to Tiwali Minsk , for whose professional team he was active from 1988 to 1992 in the top Soviet league, the Vysschaya League , and then for three years in the International Hockey League . His team changed their name to Tiwali Minsk in 1993. With the team he became Belarusian champion three times in a row in 1993, 1994 and 1995 . The 1995/96 season he spent with Severstal Tscherepowez in the International Hockey League. The winger then played for Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk and Ak Bars Kazan in the Russian Super League for a year and a half . The 1999/2000 season he began with his ex-club Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk in the super league, but left this after six games and spent most of the season at HC Slovnaft Vsetín in the Czech extra league .

From 2000 to 2003 Antonenka played for one year each for the Super League participants Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod , Severstal Tscherepowez and Metallurg Novokuznetsk . He also spent most of the 2003/04 season at Severstal Tscherepowez. For the playoffs he moved to HK Homel from the Belarusian extra league . For the 2004/05 season he was committed by HK MWD Tver from the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division, with which he immediately achieved promotion to the Superliga as the second division champion. In the middle of the following season he returned to his Belarusian homeland, where he received a contract with HK Dinamo Minsk . With the team he was cup winners at the end of the season and again Belarusian champion in the 2006/07 season .

From 2007 to 2009 Antonenka played for one season each for his ex-club HK MWD, which has meanwhile moved to Balaschicha, in the Super League and its successor in the Continental Hockey League . He started the 2009/10 season at Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg and finished it at his hometown club HK Dinamo Minsk, which was also accepted into the KHL in 2008. The 2010/11 season , he initially spent at Molot-Prikamye Perm in the Supreme Hockey League , the new second Russian league. After only four games, however, he left the team again in September and joined his ex-club HK Homel from the Belarusian extra league.

International

For Belarus , Antonenka took part in the C World Championships in 1994 , the B World Championships in 1997 and 2002, and the A World Championships in 1998 , 1999 , 2001 , 2006 , 2007 , 2008 and 2009 . He was also in his country's squad for the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano , 2002 in Salt Lake City and 2010 in Vancouver .
