Alexander Preibisch (born April 30, 1991 in Cologne ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing for the Bietigheim Steelers in the DEL2 since June 2017 .

Career

Alexander Preibisch began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the Cologne EC , for which he was active in the school league in the 2004/05 season. He spent the following season with the Eisbären Juniors Berlin, also in the school league. For the 2006/07 season the winger returned to the Cologne EC, with whose junior team from the German junior league he immediately won the DNL championship. After another two years with the DNL team of the KEC, he joined the Düsseldorfer EG for the 2009/10 season . He spent most of the season with their second team in the fourth-rate ice hockey regional league , but also made his debut for the professional team in the German ice hockey league .

For the 2010/11 season , Preibisch moved to EHC Dortmund from the third-class ice hockey league . For the following season he was obliged by league rivals EV Duisburg . In the 2012/13 season he will be used in parallel to the game with Duisburg in the major league with a license for his ex-club Düsseldorfer EG in the DEL. Since the 2013/14 season he has only been playing for the Düsseldorfer EG without a license. In December 2014, the club announced that Preibisch had signed another two-year contract, meaning that he would remain in Düsseldorf at least until the end of the 2016/17 season .

On April 25, 2017, the Düsseldorfer EG announced that Preibisch would not receive a new contract. Preibisch then moved to the Bietigheim Steelers in the DEL2 .
