Tim Schüle (born September 9, 1990 in Bietigheim-Bissingen ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing for the Bietigheim Steelers from the DEL2 again since May 2019 .

Career

Schüle began his career in the junior team at SC Bietigheim-Bissingen , where he went through all junior teams and played with the junior team in the German junior league from 2005 to 2007 . There he was one of the defenders with the highest points in the team, he completed 61 games and was able to achieve 35 points scorer. In the summer of 2007 he joined the DEG Metro Stars , who initially used him in the regional league and in the DNL with the second team of the Metro Stars and the DEG Youngsters.

During the 2008/09 season Schüle was called up for the first time in the professional squad of the DEG Metro Stars. In the 2009/10 season he was given a production license and played for the Wölfen Freiburg . For the 2010/11 season, the defender moved to the Nürnberg Ice Tigers . After five years with the Ice Tigers, he returned to DEG in 2015.

For the 2017/18 season, Schüle made the move to Löwen Frankfurt . In his first season in the DEL2 he was the top scorer of all defenders with 46 points from 50 games. In the 2018 playoffs, he scored another 14 points. In the 2018/19 season he was runner-up with the Löwen and collected a total of 46 points (18 goals and 28 assists) in 65 appearances. He then returned to his home country and has since played for Bietigheim Steelers in the DEL2.

International

From 2008 Schüle was a regular player in the German U20 team and took part in the U20 Junior World Championship in the top division in 2009 and the U20 Junior World Championship in Division I in 2010 . The team was relegated to Division I in 2009, before being promoted directly back to the top division a year later.
