Angelo Conterno
Angelo Conterno (born March 13, 1925 in Turin ; † November 30, 2007 there ) was an Italian cyclist .
Career
Although he mainly raced in Italy , Angelo Conterno achieved his greatest successes abroad. In 1956 he was the first Italian to win the overall ranking of the Tour of Spain including the second stage. In 1959 he won the Zurich championship ( Züri-Metzgete ). He took part in the Tour of Italy ten times and won a total of three stages. In his entire professional career, he recorded 16 wins.
