Attilio Piccioni

Attilio Piccioni (born July 14, 1892 in Poggio Bustone , † March 10, 1976 ibid) was an Italian politician.

Piccioni was a co-founder and member of the Democrazia Cristiana and was foreign minister of his country in 1954 and from 1962 to 1963 under Prime Minister De Gasperi . He was also Minister of Justice from 1950 to 1951 . He was also a member of the Camera dei deputati from 1953 to 1958 and became a senator in 1972 .

His son is the jazz musician and film composer Piero Piccioni .
