Autoroute 10 (Québec)
The Autoroute 10 is a highway in the eastern Canadian province of Quebec . It leads from Montréal over the St. Lawrence River to the regions of Montérégie and Estrie . It runs east past Magog and ends at Sherbrooke . The total length is 142.3 km.
Route description
The motorway is called Autoroute Bonaventure in Montréal and Brossard . The rest of the route is called the Autoroute des Cantons-de-l'Est .
It starts in the east of Montréal as a junction from Autoroute 720 . It initially leads south to the Île des Sœurs , where it joins the Autoroutes 15 and 20 and crosses the Saint Lawrence River over the Pont Champlain bridge and leads to the opposite town of Brossard . There it separates from the other highways and turns to the southeast and later to the east. It passes Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu 10 km north and Granby 5 km south . To the northeast of Magog, it joins the Autoroute 55 coming from the south . Autoroute 10 ends in the north-west of Sherbrooke. There the motorway splits into Autoroute 55, which leads north, and Autoroute 610, which leads east .
