Route description
The 95 km long country road leads from Saint-Gérard-Majella in a predominantly easterly direction via Drummondville to Victoriaville . It begins as a junction of Route 132 in Saint-Gérard-Majella - south of the Saint Lawrence River , 80 km east of Montréal . The first 35 km the national road runs in a south-southeast direction via Saint-Germain-de-Grantham to Drummondville. There it crosses the Rivière Saint-François and runs the next 25 km in an east-northeast direction south of Autoroute 20 and parallel to it to Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Conseil . There route 122 turns east and for the last 35 km first follows the course of the Rivière Nicolet Sud-Ouest to Sainte-Clotilde-de-Horton and then along the Rivière Nicolet to Victoriaville, where it ends as the northwest branch of route 116 .
Route 122 is an important road link between the administrative centers of the regional counties Drummond (Drummondville) and Arthabaska (Victoriaville).
