The B Grupa 2012/13 was the 64th season of the second highest Bulgarian football league. The season started on August 18, 2012 and ended on May 25, 2013.

Game mode

In contrast to previous years, the Bulgarian Football Association did not classify the teams according to geographical and logistical criteria before the start of the season . Instead, the 16 teams should play against each other twice in the season. After the departure of FC Bdin Widin and FK Sportist Swoge in July 2012 because they could not meet the licensing requirements, the B Grupa was started with 14 teams.

The first two teams were promoted directly to the A group , while the last four teams were relegated to the third-class W group.
