The B Grupa 1965/66 was the 17th season of the second highest Bulgarian football league. It began on August 14, 1965 and ended on July 10, 1966.

There were 17 teams in the north group and 18 in the south group. These played against each other twice, divided into a first half and a second half. Since Septemwrijska Slava Michailowgrad withdrew after 12 matchdays, the northern group ended with 17 teams. Relegated Akademik Sofia from last year's A Grupa did not take part in the game for financial reasons.

The two group winners were promoted to the A Grupa . The last three clubs were relegated from the north group, the last two teams from the south group.
