The B Grupa 1981/82 was the 33rd season of the second highest Bulgarian football league. It began on August 23, 1981 and ended in June 1982.

The 44 teams were geographically divided into two groups. They competed against each other twice on 42 match days, divided into a first half and a second half. The two group winners were promoted directly to the A Grupa , while both runners-up in the table could still climb through the play-off.

The last five clubs were relegated from the north group, the last eight teams from the south group, as the three relegated groups from the A group came to the south group. The league was reduced in the following season from 22 to 18 clubs.
