The B Grupa 1957 was the eighth season of the second highest Bulgarian football league. It began on March 16, 1957 and ended on November 24, 1957.

The organization of Bulgarian sports structures has changed with the introduction of a new model in football. The old system of clubs, which were founded according to industrial or departmental principles, was abandoned and replaced by state-funded sports organizations.

This move led to a wave of mergers, dissolutions and the formation of clubs. Meanwhile, almost half of the clubs in the newly formed north or south group ended the season with a different structure or a different name.

mode

32 clubs were divided into two groups. These competed against each other twice; once at home and once away. The two group winners qualified for the A Grupa . The teams that took the last two places were eliminated from the B Grupa.
