The B Grupa 1970/71 was the 22nd season of the second highest Bulgarian football league. It began on August 8, 1970 and ended on July 3, 1971.

The 36 teams were geographically divided into two groups. They competed against each other twice on 34 match days, divided into a first half and a second half. The two group winners were promoted to the A Grupa . The two bottom of the table were relegated to the W Grupa. In addition, Textilez Sliven merged with FK Sliven during the winter break, so that space for FK Sliven was also free at the end of the season.
