Bear Stearns Tournament of Champions 2005

The Bear Stearns Tournament of Champions 2005 took place February 19-25, 2005 in New York City , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2004/05 and belonged to the Super Series category . It was endowed with $ 75,000.

Defending champion was Peter Nicol , who lost to Anthony Ricketts in the quarter-finals that year . Ricketts also reached the final, in which he met the top seeded Thierry Lincou . With 12:10, 7:11, 11: 9, 6:11 and 11: 7 Ricketts prevailed and won the tournament for the first time.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of whom were qualifiers. The 16 best players were seeded. A wildcard was not awarded.
