The JP Morgan Tournament of Champions 2011 took place January 21-27, 2011 at Grand Central Terminal in New York City , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2010/11 and belonged to the World Series Gold category .

Defending champion was James Willstrop , who failed this year in the semifinals to Ramy Ashour . Ashour also defeated Nick Matthew in the subsequent final , the game ended with 11: 3, 7:11, 11: 9 and 11: 7.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Julian Illingworth a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 115,000.
