JP Morgan Tournament of Champions 2009

The JP Morgan Tournament of Champions 2009 took place January 21-29, 2009 at Grand Central Terminal in New York City , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2008/09 and belonged to the Super Series category .

The defending champion was Ramy Ashour , who lost to Nick Matthew in the semi-finals that year . Grégory Gaultier won the final against Nick Mathew 11: 9, 2:11, 11: 8 and 11: 4.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The 16 best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Julian Illingworth a spot in the main draw.
