The Benz 27/70 PS was the successor to the four-cylinder Benz 33/75 PS .

The car was fitted with a six-cylinder in-line engine with 7065 cc capacity, the 70 HP (51 kW) at 1550 min -1 developed. The engine power was passed on to a four-speed gearbox via a leather cone clutch and from there to the rear wheels via a cardan shaft. The top speed was 95 km / h, the fuel consumption 28 l / 100 km.

The vehicles were still equipped with wooden or wire-spoke wheels and leaf-sprung rigid axles.
