The Benz 70 PS was added to the Benz 60 PS as the largest model. In 1909 the car was offered as a Benz 37/70 hp .

The car was equipped with a four cylinder in-line engine with 9850 cc capacity, the 70 HP (51 kW) at 1300 min -1 developed. The engine power was passed on to a four-speed gearbox via a leather cone clutch and from there to the rear wheels via chains. The top speed was 100 km / h.

The leaf-sprung chassis with wooden spoke wheels and pneumatic tires cost 30,000.
