The Benz 11/40 PS was a car model from Benz & Cie. It was added to the larger Benz 16/50 hp as a smaller model in 1923 .

The car was a six-cylinder - line engine with 2860 cc capacity equipped, the 40 hp (29 kW) at 2250 min -1 developed. The engine power was passed on to a four-speed gearbox via a leather cone clutch and from there to the rear wheels via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was 80 km / h, the gasoline consumption 15-17 l / 100 km.

The vehicles were still equipped with wooden or wire-spoke wheels and leaf-sprung rigid axles. The touring car was offered for RM 18,000.
