The Benz 28/30 PS was added as a larger model to the small Benz 18 PS .

The car was equipped with a four cylinder in-line engine with 4520 cc capacity, the PS 28-30 (21-22 kW) at 1400 min -1 developed. The engine power was passed on to a four-speed gearbox via a leather cone clutch and from there to the rear wheels via chains or a cardan shaft, depending on the customer's request. The top speed was 75 km / h.
