The Benz 18 PS was a further development of the Benz Parsifal 22 PS.

The car was a four-cylinder series - four-stroke engine equipped with 3160 cc capacity, the (kW 13) 18 horsepower at 1400 min -1 made. The engine power was passed on to a three- or four-speed gearbox via a leather cone clutch and from there via chains or a cardan shaft to the rear wheels, depending on the customer's wishes .

The leaf-sprung vehicle with wooden spoke wheels and pneumatic tires cost 12,500.00 as a double phaeton or 14,500.00 as a limousine . The chain drive cost 1000, - extra.
