The Benz 60 PS was added to the Benz 50 PS as the next larger model. From 1909 the car was offered as a Benz 35/60 hp .

The car was first with a four cylinder - line engine with 9240 cc capacity, the 60 hp (44 kW) at 1350 min -1 developed. The engine power was passed on to a four-speed gearbox via a leather cone clutch and from there to the rear wheels via chains. The top speed was 95 km / h. In 1908 the displacement was reduced to 8885 cm³ while maintaining the same output.

The leaf-sprung chassis with wooden spoke wheels and pneumatic tires cost 27,000 gold marks .
