Währing district
The district of Währing was a political district in Austria .
history
The district administration Währing existed only from 1890 to 1891. Before that, their area belonged to the Hernals district . In the course of the city expansion of Vienna , the district was dissolved and ceased to exist on December 31, 1891. The former communities of Währing , Weinhaus , Gersthof , Pötzleinsdorf , Neustift am Walde , Unter-Döbling , Ober-Döbling , Heiligenstadt , Nussdorf , Ober-Sievering , Unter Sievering and most of Salmannsdorf , Grinzing and Kahlenbergerdorf have belonged to Vienna since then, the other communities came to the newly established Tulln district .
structure
The former district included:
- today's north-west of Vienna (districts 18 and 19, that is Währing and Döbling ),
- the following municipalities in today's Tulln district (names according to the current status): Judenau-Baumgarten , Klosterneuburg , Königstetten , Langenrohr , Muckendorf-Wipfing , St. Andrä-Wierter , Sieghartskirchen , Tulbing , Tulln and Zeiselmauer-Wolfpassing .
District courts existed in Währing, Klosterneuburg and Tulln.
