Biały Zdrój (German Balsdrey ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the municipality of Sławoborze ( Stolzenberg ) in the powiat Świdwiński ( Schivelbein ).
Geographical location
Biały Zdrój is eight kilometers north of Świdwin , one kilometer east of the provincial road 162 from Kołobrzeg ( Kolberg ) to Drawsko Pomorskie ( Dramburg ). Located on Jezioro Bystrzyna Małe ( Klein Beustriner See ), the place borders in the north on the 177 meter high Klorowka ( Klorberg ). The nearest train station is Świdwin.
history
Balsdrey was first mentioned in a document in 1498, when Landvogt Berendt Rhor gave Drewes Zibell the office of Schulzenamt zu Balsdrey on behalf of Johann Cicero , Margrave of Brandenburg . In 1540 the village came to the Order of St. John , and in 1736 a fiefdom school , four farmers and several desolate farms were counted in Balsdrey . In 1803 there were six fireplaces and 51 residents, and in 1884 there were three estates , two farmers, one Büdner and two old people in the community .
The village still had three landowners in 1928, supplemented by a farm in the associated village of Niederhof (Miedzno).
In 1939 the place had 176 inhabitants in 43 households with a community area of 1208.5 hectares.
Formerly part of the district of Schivelbein, the place came to the district of Belgard (Persante) in 1932 . He belonged to the official and civil registry district Nelep (Nielep) in the district court area Schivelbein.
As a result of the Second World War , Balsdrey became Polish and today belongs to the rural community of Sławoborze as Biały Zdrój .

Balsdrey was parish in the parish of Grössin until 1945 and belongs to the church district Schivelbein in the ecclesiastical province of Pomerania of the Protestant Church of the Old Prussian Union .
Today Biały Zdrój is in the parish of Koszalin ( Köslin ) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
