Bibi & Tina: Mädchen gegen Jungs is a German feature film by the director Detlev Buck from 2016 , based on the children's radio play series Bibi und Tina and the witch Bibi Blocksberg and her friend Tina, invented by Elfie Donnelly . The German theatrical release was on January 21, 2016. The film is after Bibi & Tina and Bibi & Tina: Full of bewitches! , which both came to the cinemas in 2014, the third part in the Bibi and Tina film series.

action

The pupils of a partner school visit the tent camp in Falkenstein to get to know country life. At a sporting event, the home team is initially defeated until finally Bibi supports the Falkensteiner. The guest student Urs turns out to be an extreme macho and slogan. This makes him a big thorn in the side of Bibi and Tina.

The next activity is a geocache search, where the girls compete against the boys. Urs manages to win Tina's friend Alex von Falkenstein for his group. For fear of losing, Urs also plays unfairly and puts Bibi's group in danger. To save herself from an angry bull, Bibi has to use her magic powers without permission.

The hostility of Urs is getting worse. At the crucial moment, however, Bibi suddenly inexplicably loses her magical abilities and can no longer use witches.

After the geocache final in a cave, Urs Bibi's teammate Francois chases the last star, with Francois losing his glasses. During a dialogue, Bibi remembers that she and Tina and Francois had a herbal smoothie at Kakmann's in his hermit's hut . They ride there and it turns out that the herb smoothie contained knee root, a relative of the ivy plant. However, ivy and the kangaroo related to it work against witchcraft. Now it is clear why Bibi can no longer witch. And it gets worse because Francoi's lost glasses cause a forest fire. Everyone must help to prevent the fire from spreading further. While working with the fire, Bibi sweats out the kernel root and regains her witchcraft powers and can put out the forest fire with a specific witch spell.
