The 2015/16 Krombacher Pokal was the 26th edition of the Brandenburg State Cup for men in amateur football. The SV Babelsberg 03 sat down on May 28, 2016 in the final against FSV 63 Luckenwalde 3: 1 by and was, for the ninth time, national cup winners. With this victory, SV Babelsberg 03 qualified for the DFB-Pokal 2016/17 .

The final took place for the first time, as part of the final day of the amateurs , in the Werner Seelenbinder Stadium in Luckenwalde .

1Since the cup winner SV Falkensee-Finkenkrug II, as the second team, was not entitled to participate in the state cup, FC Borussia Brandenburg (KOL) , as an inferior finalist, qualified for the state cup.

Game mode

The Brandenburg State Cup 2015/16 was played in the knockout system . An attempt is first made to play a winner in 90 minutes. If it is then a tie, there will be a thirty-minute extension, as in other cup competitions. If there is still no winner after that, this will then be determined in the penalty shoot-out according to the known pattern.
