DFB Cup 2018/19

The AOK State Cup 2018/19 was the 29th edition of the Brandenburg State Cup for men in amateur football. The FC Energie Cottbus sat down on May 25, 2019 in the final against FSV Optik Rathenow with 1: 0 by and was, for the ninth time, national cup winners. With this victory, FC Energie Cottbus qualified for the 2019/20 DFB Cup .

The final took place in Rathenow in the Vogelgesang stadium.

Game mode

The Brandenburg State Cup 2018/19 will be played in the knockout system . An attempt is first made to play a winner in 90 minutes. If it is then a tie, there will be a thirty-minute extension, as in other cup competitions.
If there is still no winner after that, this will then be determined in the penalty shoot-out according to the known pattern.

The 64 qualified teams took part in the first main round. The draw took place on July 18th at 11:00 a.m. in the association's office in Cottbus.
