DFB Cup 2014/15

The 2014/15 Krombacher Pokal was the 25th edition of the Brandenburg State Cup for men in amateur football. On May 6, 2015, FC Energie Cottbus prevailed 3-2 in the final against FSV Union Fürstenwalde and won the state cup for the sixth time. With this victory, FC Energie Cottbus qualified for the 2015/16 DFB Cup .

The final took place in the Friedrich-Friesen-Stadion in Fürstenwalde .

3Since the cup winners VfB was not entitled 1921 Krieschow II as a second team to participate in the national cup, was the SV Motor Cottbus Saspow (KOL) , qualified as runners-for the National Cup.
4thDue to the rise of the SSV unit Perleberg, in the Landesliga Nord, the Pritzwalker FHV 03 (LK) , as a defeated finalist, qualified for the state cup.

Game mode

The Brandenburg State Cup 2014/15 was played in the knockout system . An attempt is first made to play a winner in 90 minutes. If it is then a tie, there will be a thirty-minute extension, as in other cup competitions. If there is still no winner after that, this will then be determined in the penalty shoot-out according to the known pattern.

qualification

In the qualifying round, 14 of the 17 district cup winners met. The clubs SV 1908 GW Ahrensfelde, FC Kemmen 1920, Storkower SC each received a bye for the qualifying round.
