Brian Wellman (born September 8, 1967 ) is a former triple jumper from Bermuda .

In 1988 in Seoul he took part in the Olympic Games for the first time, but was eliminated in qualification.

In 1991 he finished sixth at the World Championships in Tokyo and won gold at the Universiade . The following year he finished fifth at the Olympic Games in Barcelona .

In 1993 he won bronze at the World Indoor Championships in Toronto and finished eighth at the World Championships in Stuttgart . A bronze medal at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria was followed by gold at the World Indoor Championships in Barcelona and silver at the World Championships in Gothenburg in 1995 .

In 1996 he was sixth at the Olympic Games in Atlanta , and in 1997 fifth at the World Championships in Athens . At the 1999 World Championships in Seville and the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, he failed to qualify, at his last World Championships in 2001 in Edmonton he was sixth again.

He won three medals at the Central American and Caribbean Championships: bronze in 1997 and gold in 1999 and 2001.

Brian Wellman is 1.75 m tall and weighed 72 kg during his playing days.
