Bridgett Riley (born May 13, 1973 in Oakville , Missouri ) is an American stunt woman , actress and former boxer .

Life

Bridgett Riley was born on May 13, 1973 in Oakville, Missouri. She has three brothers. As a child she started practicing karate before she tried kickboxing . Her father, who supported her in the project to become a professional kickboxer, fell ill with cancer and died in May 1993 at the age of 63.

Career

Boxing

As a professional kickboxer, Riley was able to win three big titles and finished them with a statistic of 26-2-0. Bridgett Riley made her bantamweight boxing debut on April 8, 1994 at the Hilton Hotel in Laughlin , Nevada . Riley got her fight name "Baby Doll" from her first kickboxing trainer. On February 15, 1998, Riley was able to win the IFBA bantamweight title. On March 13, 1999, she played the preliminary fight at Madison Square Garden , with Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield faced in a title union fight in the main fight . Their promoter was Don King . She finished her boxing career on May 4, 2003 with a statistic of 15-3-0.

Stunt woman

During her boxing career, Riley also worked as a stunt double. So she performed her first stunts in the television series Walker, Texas Ranger . Then she was the stunt double but was also used in fight scenes of the yellow Power Ranger in the television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and in the film Power Rangers - The film , which has nothing to do with the plot of the series. This was followed by further employment as a stunt woman for films such as Ghosts of Mars , Million Dollar Baby , The Island , Transformers and Watchmen - The Guardians .

In addition to her work as a stunt woman, she was also responsible for the motion capture process for the films Catwoman and Constantine . In 2010 she was Scarlett Johansson's stunt double in the Marvel film adaptation of Iron Man 2 , as well as Amanda Seyfried in Gone . For the novel adaptation Till the End of the Night , she was used as a stunt double for the actresses Ashley Greene , Elizabeth Reaser , Casey LaBow and Mía Maestro in both parts.

While Riley performed the stunts of the yellow Power Rangers in the television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers , she slipped into the costume of the monster patrol, the opponents of the Power Rangers, in 92 episodes from 1993 to 1995. Subsequently, she appeared in the martial arts program WMAC Masters , in eleven episodes under her battle name Baby Doll.
