architecture

This bourgeois dwelling house is to be regarded as the right, final part of a closed and extraordinarily well-preserved group (No. 176–196) of historic townhouses. This group is the centerpiece of the avenue that was laid out before the turn of the century as a boulevard and as a further connecting axis between Rheydt and Mönchengladbach.

The building can be seen as part of the special construction type of the semi-detached house , which is very often represented in all sections of Brucknerallee, with the individual semi-detached houses also all representing different construction phases in their different forms. This double house on the same side as the street front with a front garden was built between 1903 and 1904.
