To the north of the Bismarck monument (today the Fischerturm), Brucknerallee was expanded into a spacious complex from 1894 on with a tree-lined promenade between the lanes. The first buildings were built there around 1890, and the remaining vacant lots were closed towards the end of the heaviest building activity (after the turn of the century) .

House no. 129 was built between 1911 and 1912 and forms a twin house with house no. 131, of which there are several variants on Brucknerallee. The property is a three-axis, two-and-a-half-story building with a street-side mansard roof . The slate roof of the attic rises above a wooden box cornice with a curtain gutter .
