The house Brucknerallee 222 is in the district Grenzlandstadion in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

The building was built in 1895. It was entered under No. B 070 on August 30, 1988 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

architecture

It is a two- storey house with eaves that was originally designed as a single-family house . Overall, the Brucknerallee is an avenue laid out as a boulevard , which was mainly developed in three construction phases around 1895, 1905, and 1935.

The windows are flanked by pilaster- like wall templates, which are decorated with horizontal ribbons up to window height. In the fields above the windows there is a floral stucco decoration . The protruding flat roof also rests on a console cornice. The skylight to the left of the bay window is no longer provided with a slate hood as in the slightly more originally preserved semi-detached house .
