Brucknerallee 188 (Mönchengladbach)
The residential business building Brucknerallee 188 is in the district of Rheydt in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ).
The building was built in 1899. It was entered in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach under No. B 069 on August 30, 1988 .
architecture
The two-and-a-half-storey house with a steeply sloping gable roof was built in 1899 by a police superintendent as a speculative object and immediately sold again. The architect and site manager of the row single-family house was Franz Fischer, who was responsible for a not inconsiderable number of plans in this section of Brucknerallee.
The stucco facade , performed in a Gothic repertoire of forms, is triaxial and completely clad with red-brown bricks . Rectangular windows that are roofed vertically form the vertical, connecting plaster strips that structure the house horizontally. About the eaves obscuring Holzkastengesims which is roof of a dormer with original wooden Rundbogenrahmung broken. There is a roof turret on the protruding dormer roof .
