Residential building

The house Brucknerallee 19 is in the district of Rheydt in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ).

The building was built in 1885. It is under No. B 079 on March 6th. 1989 registered in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

House No. 19 was built in 1885 as a typical Rhenish three-window house. The plastered facade emphasizes the entrance axis ( risalit ) and the windows of the first floor (blind strip for the window parapet , edicle-like frame and decorative gable with acroteria and volute consoles ). "Wiegkammer and Comptoir " were on the ground floor of the extension, and "Lager und Scheerkammer" (building files) was on the top floor. In 1927/29 the extension was enlarged. Today the house is used for residential and commercial purposes.

This type of house is still represented in large numbers in Rheydt, but this building documents the development of Brucknerallee and is therefore worth preserving for urban planning reasons.
