Bundestag constituency Mannheim II
The Mannheim II constituency was a constituency in Baden-Württemberg from 1965 to 2002 . It included the last of the independent city of Mannheim , the municipalities Friedrichsfeld , Lindenhof , Neckarau , neuostheim / neuhermsheim , Rheinau and Seckenheim and the Rhein-Neckar district municipalities Edingen-Neckarhausen , Heddesheim , Hemsbach , Hirschberg , Ilvesheim , Ladenburg , Laudenbach , Schriesheim and Weinheim .
The Mannheim II constituency emerged in 1965 from the predecessor Mannheim-Land constituency , which included the then Mannheim district. For the federal election in 2002 , the Mannheim II constituency was dissolved and its area was divided between the Mannheim and Heidelberg constituencies. The last directly elected member of the constituency was Konstanze Wegner ( SPD ).
