CHL Scholastic Player of the Year
The CHL Scholastic Player of the Year Award is an award from the Canadian Hockey League . It has been awarded annually since the end of the 1987/88 season to the player in the three major Canadian junior leagues who was best able to combine sporting success with good academic performance. There is a choice of the winner of the Daryl K. (Doc) Seaman Trophy (nomination of the Western Hockey League ), the Bobby Smith Trophy (nomination of the Ontario Hockey League ) and the Trophée Marcel Robert winner (nomination of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League ) .
