The 2007-08 season was the Central Hockey League's 16th regular season . The 17 teams completed 64 matches each in the regular season . The Central Hockey League was played in four divisions . The team with the highest points of the regular season were the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs , while the Arizona Sundogs won the Ray Miron President's Cup for the first time in the play-offs .
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Fort Worth Brahmas resumed gaming after a one-year hiatus and changed their name to Texas Brahmas.
- The Memphis RiverKings changed their name to Mississippi RiverKings.
- The Lubbock Cotton Kings stopped playing.
