The Chevrolet Tracker is a compact SUV from SAIC General Motors that has been marketed under the Chevrolet brand since 2019 .
history
In China, the model is the successor to the Chevrolet Trax introduced in 2013 , which was also offered as a tracker in some markets. The Chinese name (创 酷) is identical to that of the Trax. The Suzuki Vitara was already sold as the Chevrolet Tracker in some markets.
The compact SUV was presented at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2019. It has been on sale in China since June 2019. The Buick Encore , a new series was also presented in Shanghai, with the tracker, the GEM - platform shares. The market launch in Brazil took place in March 2020.

Vehicles for the Chinese market are manufactured in the SAIC-GM plant in Norsom. For Latin America, the vehicle has been produced at GM's São Caetano do Sul plant since the beginning of 2020 .

The tracker is powered by a one-liter gasoline engine with a maximum of 92 kW (125 PS) or a 1.3-liter gasoline engine with 121 kW (165 PS) maximum output.
The engines and fuel systems of vehicles in the Latin American market can also run on ethanol fuel . The one-liter gasoline engine has a maximum output of 85 kW in gasoline mode. There is also a 1.2-liter petrol engine with a maximum output of 98 kW in ethanol operation and 97 kW in petrol operation.
All engine variants are delivered with front-wheel drive , all-wheel drive is not available.
