The Chevrolet Optra is a compact class sedan from the US automaker General Motors that is sold under the brand name Chevrolet . In some markets, estate sedans and station wagons were also sold under this name until 2009.
First generation (2002–2012)
The first generation is the Daewoo Lacetti J200, which was sold under this name in Canada, Mexico, India (until 2012) and Japan and in Europe as the Daewoo / Chevrolet Lacetti in the station wagon version and as the Daewoo / Chevrolet Nubira in the notchback sedans - and combination version was named.

The second generation of the Optra has only been sold in Egypt and Algeria since 2014 . The vehicle is based on the 630 built from 2011 by the Chinese car brand Baojun and was initially built at SAIC GM Wuling in Wuling. The drive is also taken over by this. In Egypt, the vehicle has been built at the GM plant in Madinat as-Sadis min Uktubar (6th of October City) since 2016 .
