The Chevrolet Yeoman is a station wagon that Chevrolet only produced in the 1958 model year ( Chevrolet 1100 ). It was available as a 3- or 5-door station wagon, each with 6 seats. The Yeoman was the station wagon version of the Chevrolet Del Ray and was thus the entry-level model of the manufacturer's station wagon range. The more luxurious station wagons this year were Brookwood and Nomad .
As with the Del Ray, a six-cylinder in-line engine or various V8 engines could be installed on request. In 1959, the Yeoman fell away along with the Del Ray.
