The Chevrolet Series H was a mid- range car manufactured by Chevrolet between 1914 and 1916 as an entry-level model. The vehicle was introduced at the end of 1913 and was available as a 5-seat touring car model H-4 "Baby Grand" and a 2-seat roadster model H-2 "Royal Mail" . The touring car was available in gray or plum-colored with a black chassis and gray wheels. The cars had four-cylinder block engines with overhead valves . The engine with a displacement of 2802 cm³ developed an output of 24 bhp (17.6 kW). The engine power was transmitted to the rear wheels via a cone clutch and a three-speed manual gearbox. The rear wheels were fitted with external band brakes. The sales prices were US $ 750 for the Roadster and US $ 875 for the Tourer.

In 1915, the wheelbase was lengthened by 2 ″ to 2,692 mm. The models H-2 and H-4 continued to be built; only the price of the tourer H-4 fell to US $ 850. There was also a third model, a 2-seater sports roadster with the designation model H-3 "Amesbury Special" . This luxury version was offered for US $ 985.

In 1916 the expensive Amesbury Special disappeared again. Instead, the H-2½ “Special Roadster” model was introduced at a price of US $ 750. The other two variants, the H-2 and H-4, which are still available, now only cost US $ 720 and were still among the more expensive offers from Chevrolet.

The following year, the F series replaced the H series.
